Season 7 of Orange Is The New Black is happening, that's a fact. And now we know it's going to be the very last season of OITNB, that's also a fact. So after that explosive sixth season, what can we expect from the Litchfield massive in season 7? Let's take a look shall we?

On 22nd May, Netflix released this behind-the-scenes teaser trailer, which confirmed that the release date is 26th July 2019. As in, the date that's in the past, has happened, and therefore means Orange is The New Black season 7 is now on Netflix. Yaaaas!

Luckily for everyone, there were no major deaths in the main cast, so there's a good chance the whole gang will be back. Yay!
And despite the fact that Piper is released from prison at the end of season 6 (I know, right?!), executive producer Tara Herrmann has specifically confirmed that she will be back as she's the "grounding force of the show" and they want to make sure they "fully tell the story of what it's like for Piper on the outside".
Taystee, Suzanne, Frieda, Red, Nicky and Daya are all be back too. Plus, we've heard that there'll be at least two season 6 regulars joining them: Madison and Daddy.
Orange Is The New Black season 7 storylines
Like we said, Piper has been released from prison. So we reckon season 7 will focus on her return to life in the outside world. But what about her prison pals? We'll still get to see those guys, right?
At the end of season 6, Taystee was found guilty of killing Piscatella, so we're guessing her fate will feature heavily in season 7. As will Blanca's. She thought she was getting early release like Piper, but, in one of the most heartbreaking scenes ever, she ended up being taken to an immigration detention centre instead.
Daya's spiralling drug addiction and Lorna going into early labour will both make for great storylines in season 7 too.
