We all know sex education in this country is a total flaming garbage fire, which is why the new LGBTQ-inclusive sex and relationships education regulations are so damn important (and well overdue). I mean, just look at how much everyone lost their shit over Netflix's Sex Education. None of us had seen a show depict sex in such a honest, funny and progressive way before. And the sex scenes were just so relatable it was like the creator had stared into our very souls.

So it's good news for fans who have been desperate to watch something equally as life-changing since finishing Sex Education. Enter: Sex on the Couch. Made by BBC Three and coming to BBC One on Friday April 26, the programme basically lets you snoop on IRL couples as they have sex and relationships therapy sessions.

The six-parter is all about giving us the insight (and education) we desperately need to understand the immense pressure modern relationships face. A diverse range of couples will visit the clinic and spill all their emotional and sexual issues to one of four therapists.

Yes, it is emotional, revealing, candid and just plain incredible. Not only does it teach you that the weird shit going on in your own sex life is totally normal, but that there are ways of coping and changing the things you might not be happy with in your relationship.

After stopping having sex and feeling like their relationship is at breaking point, Nick and Louisa are given homework - a sensual massage - to try to recreate intimacy in their partnership. It's a lot, but leads to big revelations from them both.

For Dana and James in episode two, their visit is all about getting the sexual spark back that they experienced at the start of their relationship. It's something most people who've been in a partnership can relate to, and a sex ban is used to help them recreate that feeling of sexual excitement.
