Ramdane Touhami is one of a kind. The proof is in his new address situated Paris’ le Marais. The hybrid location which resembles the Officine Buly boutique where the products line floor to ceiling shelves, it offers rare flowers, a fashion corner in the old Rodin workshop at the time of The Thinker, and an onigiris Nanikoré bar where the rice balls are filled with shiso, curry, sardines and even chocolat. And now there is the quintessentially Parisian Grand Café Tortoni serving high quality fare, warm madeleines, and homemade ice cream.

Buly 1803, 45 rue de Saintonge 75003 Paris - open from September 1, 2017.

4. Takaramono

Jean Picon

The Petite Amour duo (Fleur & Angèle) and Trésor Food (Alexandre Arnal & Jonathan Ouanounou) have announced the opening of Takaramono (the Japanese for ‘my treasure’ in English). Every Friday and Saturday, the owner and his business partner offer Japanese-meets-Camargue dishes as well as casseroles paired with wine and Masumi saké in a home-away-from-home atmosphere.

Sucre Glace, 61 quai de Valmy 75010 Paris - open daily from 1pm to 11pm (and 11:45pm Thurday to Sunday).

6. Merci x Camile Becerra

After Armand Arnal and Gjelina, this September the Merci boutique welcomes Camille Becerra, the culinary genius behind the Caribbean restaurant De Maria in New York, whose motto comprises three words: generous, tasty, and healthy. On the menu you can expect natural and local cuisine with New York and South American influences that are as fresh, sweet and joyful as its chef. The Sunday brunch menu is also a must.
