Just when you thought you had your Zara shopping habits under control, the Spanish fashion giant has introduced its debut 'click-and-collect' store.

The Inditex-owned label has set up shop in Westfield Stratford City and the pop-up is the first of its kind to accommodate online orders.

Spanning 2,150 square foot, the store is designed to give customers a glimpse of the future with the ability to pay through mobile phones, the Zara app and even self-checkout machines.

But the tech-savvy retail giant doesn't stop there, as according to Drapers, the chain has also introduced a product recommendation system which is embedded into changing room mirrors.

This means, that when a customer scans an item using radio frequency identification (RFID) technology, the system pulls up accommodating sizes and even suggests co-ordinating garments.

In a revolutionary move towards a more sustainable footprint, the pop-up will also operates on a smart system which is designed to reduce emissions and save money.

Chairman and chief executive officer of Inditex, Pablo Isla, is confident that the label's latest move is "another milestone in our strategy of integrating stores with the online world, which defines our identity as a business".

The innovative pop-up will run until May 2018 at Westfield Stratford City.
