The world's first Michelin-starred street food is coming to London

The world's first chef to earn a Michelin star for street food is coming to London next week – and he’ll be serving up food for just £6.

Singapore based Hawker Chan will be flying into London to serve up portions of one of his signature dishes at the King’s Cross location of London street food market KERB.

From March 14-16 lunchtime punters in Granary Square will be able to get their hands on a plate of Chan’s Soya sauce chicken and rice.

The dish will cost just £6 and Chan will be serving between 12 and 2pm – but with just 200 portions available each day, it might be a good idea to get down early to avoid disappointment.

“My dream is to see more Singaporean cuisine and more of the undiscovered local hawker talent enjoyed on an international stage,” said Hawker Chan. “Whether you’re a restaurant chef or a street market hawker – with food you can never stop learning."
